Response Communication

Our foundation has equipped a 16’ trailer to be a mobile incident command center. The communications trailer is equipped with the radios, equipment, and resources necessary to provide reliable communication when local capabilities have been devastated by disaster or when rescue efforts are needed. The trailer delivers rapid, and dependable communication and coordination to support response efforts.

We operate on VHF, UHF, and HF amateur radio bands as well as GMRS and CB radio channels, supported by two radio operator stations and a dedicated planning station. The trailer is powered by both solar DC and AC power generators and features StarLink internet for remote connectivity and utilizes mapping tools to enhance situational awareness and to track search and rescue teams.

Collectively, these capabilities allow us to maintain critical communication links with on-scene personnel, coordinate emergency response, manage logistical needs, and assist communities with welfare reporting when traditional infrastructure is compromised.
